HeyGen Introduces “Styles” for Its Video Agent to Control Full Video Aesthetics
HeyGen has released a new feature called Styles inside its Video Agent, aimed at giving users more control over the visual identity of AI-generated videos before they are created.
The update allows creators to select a predefined visual style before generating a video, enabling the system to automatically apply a consistent design framework across the entire output.
Rather than adjusting individual elements after generation, users can now define the overall creative direction upfront.
What Styles controls
Once a style is selected, HeyGen applies a cohesive design system throughout the video, including:
Typography
Predefined font pairings and text hierarchies are applied consistently across titles, captions and on-screen text.
Colour systems
Each style includes a coordinated palette of backgrounds, accents and text colours to maintain visual consistency.
Motion and pacing
Transitions, animation timing and graphic movement are adjusted to match the tone and energy of the selected style.
Layout
The visual structure and composition determine how content appears and flows on screen.
One script, multiple creative outcomes
With the introduction of Styles, the same script can now produce significantly different creative results, depending on the style selected before generation.
